“Curator” Amanda Stern: “The Happy Ending Music and Reading Series (voted the best reading series in Manhattan by New York Press) features the most interesting storytellers, writers, musicians, raconteurs and personalities in NYC and REQUIRES THEM TO TAKE ONE PUBLIC RISK. Musicians play five original lyric-driven songs and one cover of their choice.” This Wednesday, Revealer editor Jeff Sharlet will take that risk, presenting, with independent radio producer David Miller, selections from their radio documentary on getting lost and found — Godwise, that is — in America. Wednesday, October 13th, @8:00pm (doors open at 7:30pm). Plus: Andy Borowitz, winner of the first ever National Press Club Award for Humor (really?), who will probably say something funny about the debate to follow the show, and musical stylings from Seafoxx, all brought to you live by novelist Amanda Stern at Happy Ending Bar, 302 Broome Street @ Forsyth; 212-334-9676 (B,D to Grand Street or F, J, M, Z to Delancey).
