Yesterday hundreds of gay rights supporters, including dozens of Christian, Jewish, Muslim and Unitarian religious leaders, held a religious-themed rally in Olympia, Washington. The rally took place between the state Supreme Court, which will soon hear arguments in a case on gay marriage, and the state Legislative building, which is considering a gay civil rights bill, which would ban discrimination in housing, employment and insurance, that was first proposed 29 years ago.
