The Revealer‘s favorite Yiddish writer, Lamed Shapiro, appears in translation in the new edition of Pakn Treger, the magazine of the National Yiddish Book Center. Shapiro, writes Leah Garrett in an introduction, “introduced a new literary perspective on anti-Jewish violence.
