NYU’s Center for Religion and Media begins its fall schedule this week with two great events. On Thursday, September 14, CRM Fellow Patricia Spyer will discuss her research in an Anthropology Colloquium entitled “Blind Faith: Painting Christianity in Postconflict Ambon, Indonesia.” On Friday the 15th, Kim Barley and Donnacha O’Briain’s film “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised” — a documentary about the April 2002 Venezuelan coup attempt — will be the first in the four-part series “Gods Elect? Religion, Media and Elections in the Americas” to be screened. These are two events that shouldn’t be missed. Click here for times and locations.
