More Jack Abramoff fallout: The Republican “superlobbyist” who keeps popping up in unfortunate poses ever since Tom DeLay’s fundraising activities came to light takes another blow with the revelations in a Newsweek report that he’d redirected donations made by Native Americans for inner city youth to help the ultra-Orthodox Israeli settlement of Beitar Illit purchase high-tech military equipment to fight the Palestinian uprising.
