The Church of England Newspaper investigates reports of abuses of Iranian Christians, who have lately been subject to temporary arrests, seizures of their property, beatings by police and secret service members, and infringements on their religious freedoms, including barring open evangelizing, Christian conferences or holding church services in Farsi, Iran’s most common language, and the government’s clamp-down on the growing house church movement.
