World Harvest Church Pastor Rod Parsley, whose products you can read about here, along with his fellow megachurch “patriot pastor,” Rev. Russell Johnson, has come under sharp criticism from a group of 30 liberal-moderate ministers. The critics’ group, hosted by the progressive United Church of Christ, charges that Parsley and Johnson used their churches to promote only Republican candidates, organize partisan voter drives, and distribute deeply biased voter information. Johnson replied that the critics had formed “‘an unholy alliance'” of the religious and secular left to wage an attack against “‘people of faith.'”
