Abraham’s Daughters, a new play by The Revealer‘s Elissa Lerner, will have its world premiere at the New York International Fringe Festival!

In what Priscilla Warner, co-author of The Faith Club, calls “an exciting addition to the interfaith dialogues that need to take place on campuses and stages all around the world,” Abraham’s Daughters tackles religious identity against the familiar backdrop of beer pong, dormcest and last minute cramming of freshman year. Ranya, a Muslim, Kate, a Christian, Sarah, a Jew, and Will, an atheist, discover friendships, hardships, and challenge their core faiths, in a dramatic exploration of the ways religion affects daily life.

Abraham’s Daughters goes up at the SoHo Playhouse located at 15 Vandam Street with the following performances (all shows in the evening):

Sunday, August 15th @ 7:15

Tuesday, August 17th @ 5:45

Saturday, August 21st @ 4:45
