This week the Rev. Peter J. Gomes died.  He was 68.  In him were often gracefully reconciled disparate identities:  a black man, a Baptist, a Harvard minister, a Republican, and a gay man out before out was conservative cool.  We’ve rounded up some links for those of you trying to make sense of a complicated man:
